M4 Operator Course

Whether you’re rifle is an off the rack M-16 A2 or a fully loaded M4 with all the bells and whistles, this two day course will have you running the gun with a new level of proficiency, like never before. We are going to push you to your physical and mental limits. Develop your operating skill with the AR/M-4 family of rifles.  

Instruction will be focused on the following:
Fundamentals of marksmanship, safety, equipment selection, shooting positions, multiple shots, multiple target engagement, zeroing the rifle, malfunctions, reloading techniques, unconventional shooting positions, use of a sling, use of cover, use of force, transitioning to a handgun and many more topics.

Instructor Bio:
Sam Conway is a professional firearms instructor with over 20 years’ experience. Sam is an original member of the United States Army Marksmanship Units Action Pistol Team, a firearms instructor for the Georgia Public Safety Training Center responsible for the training of local, county and state law enforcement officers. Mr. Conway was previously employed by the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center. Sam is the owner of American Shooters Edge.

Requirements for the course:

• Minimum 500 rounds of Rifle ammunition, 200 Rounds of Handgun ammunition.
• Handgun (semi-automatic preferred) 9mm or larger, two magazines.
• M4/AR Variant Rifle, Three magazines, Sling. AR Magazine pouch.
• Pistol Belt Holster, (No cross draw or shoulder holsters), two single or one double magazine pouch.
• Eye and ear protection. Range bag. Durable Belt. Notepad and pen, Black Markers. Hat. Comfort Items.
  

A $100.00 nonrefundable deposit is required to hold a slot. Balance due on first day of class. We accept all major credit cards and checks.
